LivingStone International University is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Administrator to join our team. The IT Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance and administration of the university’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and servers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT administration, including experience with hardware, software, networks, and servers.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, such as Windows and Linux.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, networks, and servers.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect the university’s IT infrastructure from cyber threats.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring access is granted appropriately.
  • Provide technical support and training to users on IT systems and software.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
  • Keep abreast of new technologies and trends in the IT field, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
  • Assist in the procurement of IT equipment and services as needed.
